We bought a roku to replace our 12 year old fire stick. Now what? We watched shows on paramount + the day we connected it. Now 1 week later we can’t. What exactly did I buy

Hi, @Farmer98
Welcome!
I understand your concern with your Roku device inquiry, and I'm here to help.
If you have purchased a Roku device, you can see the details of the details and other information. To view it, navigate to Settings > System > About.
Additionally, if you are having issues with an app, please visit this support article on How to resolve a channel playback issue | Official Roku Support
Hope this helps!

Re: What is the Roku stick that I bought
@Farmer98One of the primary issues when using WiFi connectivity is channel congestion. I'd recommend you install WiFi Analyzer for Android or something similar for iPhone. Then open the app and take note of how many others are using the same channel/band as you are and if possible, log into the router, disable 'auto' for channel selection and select a channel with less congestion. If you are like most who use service provider modem/router its likely channels are changing regularly due to the 'auto' feature I mentioned. Hope that helps

Re: What is the Roku stick that I bought
The icon in your post shows a 3600 Stick. If that's accurate, and you just purchased it, then you were taken. The 3600 is nine years old and has been out of production for eight. While it's still officially supported by Roku, there are some app providers that don't allow their apps to be used on that old of hardware.
Go into your Settings/System/About menu and look up the exact model number you have. I'm really hoping it's not a 3600.
