Add me to the Weather Channel Http Error List too. Here in Virginia Beach, Cox Communications via Roku, Roku and Roku. Three different Roku systems and all have the same problem. Doing all those mentioned steps doesn't help. I tried with all of mine. I have scrolling weather info across the bottom of the screen just fine, a black screen with an umbrella icon and the words "standby, changes in the forecast", and a pop-up error message for the http issue. Frustrating as all get out.
I too have the same issue on the Roku app. Uninstalled, rebooted, added the app back in. Still not working. Opened a support ticked with the weathergroup.
Not holding my breath on the fix.
Same problem. Will monitor thread in case a solution is found.
Same issue here. Xfinity is my provider. App on iphone working fine.
I'm with you having the same issue. Done all the same things, checked for updates with no fix.
As a user co.mmunity, we can only suggest and try different resolutions. Obviously not working. Is ROKU listening? How do we get ROKU support to help push the issue with TheWeather group???

The Weather Channel app has updated to version 3.6.12 and the "malformed headers" errors fixed.
Hello, it is not fixed for me. Still the same http Error code, malformed headers is popping up. We use Spectrum and they are not helping us nor is Roku either here in Georgia.
It has not been fixed here in Indiana using XFinity! Same malformed HTTP header or HTTP error code issue! This is so frustrating!
