to quote you "Our team assures that this has been acknowledged and will be worked on in a timely manner"
Since it has been nearly 3 months ago this particular issue was noted and not yet fixed, that 'Timely manner' which was actually stated months ago, is ...ok...is BS!
Maybe Roku bit off more than it could chew years back by offering a free "Roku Channel"....but now not being able to support it (do the premium ad on channels generate anything?) Does Roku even know that this frivolous, out there stuff does matter. And do they realize that folks might be wary of anything to do with ROKU.
Yeah well that is likely not gonna happen.
NEWS FLASH ROKU: Fix roku channel or shirt-can it so viewers don't waits there time
guess there is a limit on posts (no warning....why I cut my stuff to clipboard
WASTE is what I meant to type there.
But perhaps wait is the rule: Wait on ROKU Channel to fix this and similar issues that never should have needed fixing in the first place, Dang-it! License whole/complete seasons would ya! If they say no then drop it and get what you can that is at least a whole from season 1. Surely anyone reading this understands!
I would very much like to hear from an actual person that has a clue what I/we are talking about.
The forum moderators here are lost in wonderland...have no clue...and worse...no support. They respond to a post half-asserdedly.....then another moderator comes in and bob's ur uncle.
YO! Roku! If you want your Roku Channel to be supported by users rather than dunked over and over again, here, there, everywhere...clean it up. You will find much of what you'll need by reading the forum posts.
@guess there ain't anybody else. Wow...just wow.
3 plus billion in revenue and they have the sad sack Roku Channel that is dysfunctional. I can see why they don't really give a hoot but I'd rather there was no channel at all instead.
Whoever they put in charge of Roku Channel needs....help?...Re-direction?...Some kinda process? Or just shut it down.
