The description screen goes black then on again each episode. I have another tv away and it doesn’t

When I select any channel the screen goes black for 2 seconds then comes back then goes black again. If I move to a different episode the screen does the same thing again. I have restarted Roku and this is the only use of internet I have other than my iPad. Any ideas ?

Try disabling Auto-adjust display refresh rate

How to change the display refresh rate to match the native format of each movie, video or TV show | ...

Alternatively, try disabling Auto-play video:

Settings > Accessibility > Auto-play video to "Off"
