When I read threads complaining about Spanish ads on Amazon forums, the answers tend to be the same as anywhere else: You see whatever ads the people paying for your ad-subsidized TV chose to pay for.
It's not just Roku or The Roku Channel. I have seen that on other devices and services.
The ad market is "soft", with way too many services and not enough ads. Plus, with the election over, ad revenue is going to drop more. Basically, the services will most any ad they can, and air more of them to compensate.
