Setting up Roku media to work with my computer

I have Roku media set up through a wireless connection and I can player videos I have stored on my computer via windows media player.  I also have an ethernet wired connection to the Roku, but it will not access the computer drive via the wired connection and I can't figure out why.

Appreciate any help.

  • What device are you using right now? (e.g., Roku Express, Roku Streambar, Roku TV)
  • What kind of cable did you use when connecting your Roku and computer?
