Roku watching back to home screen

How many are still experiencing or new as myself brand new TV newly set up and 

Onn roku tv stops midstream and goes black to menu Homescreen constantly no matter the brand is more a roku issue I've found this is a brand new 50 inch I'm so exhausted from all these work arounds that take so long for a maybe fix for a newly installed SMART tv.  fed up with this I've tried everything and about ready to through this pos out to the curb anyone else still with the same issue I've seen for Years ONN AND ROKU MAINLY NO MATTER THE BRAND IS HAVING THIS WITH NO SOLUTION EVEN WITH THE FORUM .... SO WHAT'S THE PURPOSE HERE THEN? FRUSTRATED BEYOND!

We apologize to hear about your experience. Could you confirm if the issue only occurs on a specific channel or all channels on your Roku device? Aside from returning from the home screen, do you receive an error message or code?

No if i happened to blink,  I'd miss it is that fast!

I've noticed patterns with 

the roku live app and hulu as well tv through those particular two

Hi @Sj68,

Thanks for keeping us posted regarding the behavior you are seeing with the abovementioned channels, and we're very sorry to hear about the trouble.
We recommend performing the steps below to resolve the issue.

1. Remove the channel by highlighting it and pressing the Star (*) button
2. Restart the Roku device from Settings > System > System Restart
3. Install the channel again. Select Channel Store > Search for the channel > Click Add channel
