Since my original post, I have used this workaround...
I installed the Hoopla Android app on my phone. The Hoopla Android app has all the content categories or genres. I find and "Borrow" what I want to watch in the Hoopla Android app then open the Hoopla Roku app and my borrowed content is shown the Hoopla Roku app "Borrowed" category.
I think you must update your hoopla channel on Roku TV to get updated version of this channel. If the problem remains the same, you can use the hoopla app on your Android device which works great from my personal experience.
