Power the Roku down and then up. that cleared up this issue for me when I swapped in a new television.
This worthless app won't let me upload a screenshot. No channels can be highlighted for selection. A tiny text on the upper left is all that indicates what is selected. On "Settings", the entire selection disappears when it should be highlighted.
@wwlovetn, have you restarted your Roku? Just unplug the power for few seconds and plug it back in.
Had to leave the TV unplugged for a good 10 minutes. When I tried to unplug, then plug back in right away it still didn't reset. Thanks for the tip!
I have unplugged my Roku Premiere for an hour and restarted but still cannot get the icons to highlight.
Another suggested changing the Theme. Did that but it didn't help.
Any other ideas?

It's really hard to see the name of the app in the little print when you're clear across the room. Hope they highlight the apps again.
