NFL and Peacock as the provider
I want to know why after purchasing the NFL annual package and connecting it to my Peacock subscription, I was unable to visually see the Detroit Lions vs San Francisco 49ers game. I could only listen to it. Peacock was offered as a provider for the NFL streaming package so why could I not see the game? I feel cheated and ripped off.

Re: NFL and Peacock as the provider
A warm welcome here in the Roku Community, @rykin7600!
We appreciate you reaching out for support and we're here to further assist you regarding your subscription concerns.
Before we proceed, may we know if this is the Live streaming for the game? If so, we suggest performing the following troubleshooting steps below:
- Restart your Roku streaming device by navigating to your Home screen. Scroll and select Settings > System > Power (skip if unavailable) > System restart.
- Restart your router as well. Ensure your Wi-Fi connection is stable and performing well because sometimes, even with fiber optics, fluctuations in speed or signal strength can cause delays or playback issues.
You can also refer to our official Support article to help you on How to solve a channel playback issue.
Please let us how it goes and we'll continue assisting you from there. Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Carly

Re: NFL and Peacock as the provider
You could not watch the game, because the game was aired on Fox TV last night.

Re: NFL and Peacock as the provider
First up I did not want a new TV, But since I am 83 and apparently do not know my own mind, my sister bought me a Roku Select Series 4K HDR TV. I paid $12.?? for access to the NFL Zone and watch some early games. Checked out of the Zone and tried to reconnect to the Zone for the Lions/Vikings game later that evening. The Peacock raised its ugly head and wanted me to pay an additional fee of $7.??.
Life is to complicated. So even though I was in the 7-day free trial period I cancelled my initial $12.?? subscription. Never had any problems with my old Insignia.

Re: NFL and Peacock as the provider
Insignia is a store brand of Best Buy so just saying Insignia TV doesn't necessarily tell you much. I beleive they have had Roku TVs, Fire TVs, dumb TVs etc.
In any case, how you get your sports has way more to do with your services than a piece of hardware. Big name sports network/apps like NFL and ESPN do tend to be money hungry, and to get maximum sports all the time, they do encourage you to sign up for their "plus packages" that give you stuff NOT shown on the big TV providers (cable, sat, youtube TV etc.) but if you want to watch something that IS on the TV providers, then you usually have to authenticate to that provider. That way, NFL, ESPN etc. get money from you in two ways. And they really like your money. 😀
