switching to firestick.. this is ridiculous
That's dated over 2 years ago
I have an older Amazon firestick and it works, but it is slower. I would prefer, to keep using my Roku 4k sticks.
But, my patience is wearing thin.
Still not working and unable to watch the Giants game this morning.
Several weeks later and still no solution tells us all how little Roku thinks of your customers.
The first call , I made, was to Verizon. The associate was very sympathetic , BUT, she said Verizon, does not have any control of the NBC SPORTS App and Roku devices...they only verify your level of Verizon cable, and authorize the unlink approval for viewing.

Are we any closer to getting a resolution ?????
Appreciate the check-in, but honestly I can't believe this is taking so long. Live sports is the #1 reason the regional NBC Sports channels exist. This has been going on since the last update in late February. Unfortunately for us it took a couple weeks before anyone would pay attention to us and stop posting the same "fixes" over and over again. And now it's baseball season and I know those of us posting here are not the only ones missing out and upset about this.
Can we get an update from NBC Sports? I would imagine it is their software engineers who are responsible for the app.
Also, @RokuMary-F the issue is not "accessing" the channel it's being able to view the live events.
It's always been about accessing " Live Events", in each sports region.
