I contacted Technical Support @ Roku and have already initiated a Support Ticket and have been advised to wait until they have completed their investigation.

If nothing is resolved I can always go to my other 3 Smart TV’s to connect with BBC America including on my IPhone App.

I did find out that I can use Airplay etc to watch BBC America onto my LG Smart TV. More than one way to get around the issue at hand.

Although it would be nice to watch BBC America via my Roku Stick with my LG Smart TV.

I may replace the current Roku Device which overheats at times even after installing an extender supplied by Roku at no charge. BBC America via Roku on this LG Smart TV is the only App or Program that does not work. 🫤

We see that you're seeing the same issue experiencing the BBC America Channel and we'd like to help.

Is this the same issue where you can't access the channel on a certain device? Have you tried any troubleshooting and what didn't work?

The issue is the app will start for a couple of seconds and then it kicks me out and back to the Roku main page.  I have  tried deleting and reloading the app multiple times but the same thing happens every time.  It only happens with BBC America ; all other channels start up and play normally.

Same problem, it’s been described  pretty clearly by the other replies on this thread. App opens, displays menu for one or two seconds and closes again.

We'd like to gather more information regarding this for further investigation, Kindly provide the following information below:

• Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version. (These can all be found in Settings > System > About).
• What channel and what version/build is the channel? (This can be found by selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button).
• Tracker ID when this issue occurs. (When you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times and provide us with this ID).
• A photo or video clip referring to the issue,

Once we have this information, we will be able to investigate further.

Software version = 12.50 Build 4178-C2

BBC Version/build = Version 3.1 build 16

The Insert/edit image function is not working for me but the additional information is:

GC version = 10.3.24
