Is Roku / Sling spying on me
There is a banner streaming at top of screen says it is gathering information about how we use the device
What is this banner all about? Is my TV / roku/sling spying on us?

Does your TV have its own connection to the Internet? Any chance you can post a picture?

Re: Is Roku / Sling spying on me
Do you have a Samsung TV? If so, I believe that the message is coming from Samsung, not Roku. This just started happening recently on my TV, over whatever I was watching via Roku.
Google "annoying message on Samsung" and you will find hundreds of messages in many forums complaining of this. They want you to agree to a series of
"privacy" terms, but no way to opt in or more importantly, opt out.
