Can I buy an American Roku stick and take to France.  Supposedly there is Roku in France, but I can't find them for sale anywhere except Amazon.FR for over $250.  We pay $25-30 here.  Will a US stick work?

That's a great question. A Roku device can work overseas but there might be some limitations, especially on where it will be activated or used. 

The availability of specific apps and content may vary depending on the region, as some streaming services and channels may not be available or have different content libraries outside of the US.
