Installed apps are not showing up on the home screen
okay here's my issue. usually when I add an app like sling TV it will show up on all three of my TVs through my connected Roku account.
as of last week the sling TV app disappeared on two of my TVs it's only on one of my tvs. however if I go on to the shortcut button on my second gen voice remote on the other two TVs I can find sling and add it as a shortcut. that is my work around for now but I cannot get the sling TV app to show up on my other two TVs on the home screen though. I have deleted all three of my Roku Ultras connected them to my account again uninstalled slang reinstalled it none of it has worked.
when I uninstall sling on the one TV that it shows up on my home screen and reinstall it it should populate on the other two TVs but it's nowhere to be found. but I obviously have it installed because it shows up in my list of apps for the shortcut button.
any thoughts about this issue? maybe it's some kind of glitch. I have tried getting rid of other apps like Netflix Paramount plus and then when I reinstall them they show up on all three of my TVs again but sling will not do it.

Sling Channel will not show on home plage
I am watching how to add a channel on Roku site. First of all, my screen says streaming store. When I select it, I can search over to apps. I select Sling. I click on the icon - it goes to Open App. I never get the screen add channel. If I open app, I get Sling TV. However the icon never shows on my Roku home screen along with netflix, etc.
What am I doing wrong? I have the latest version.

Re: Sling Channel will not show on home plage
You are doing nothing wrong. Unaddressed bug by Roku. Less likely to encounter this bug if you install channels/app directly from the device.
Follow one of the methods in the following thread solution to remove this "invisible" app. Then restart the Roku device, and perform a search and install it from the Roku device.

We've started seeing reports of individual installed channel apps not being shown in the home page channel grid. These channels can be found and accessed via a channel search but this method is not very convenient.
This has been reported with a number of different installed channel apps, so it may be a random glitch not tied to any particular channel app.
Two methods have been reported as means of removing the channel app in the hope that a re-install will now be visible in the home page channel grid. Note that these methods remove the channel app itself from your Roku account, but do NOT cancel any paid subscription you may have for this channel.

VIA ROKU REMOTE APP ON ANDROID AND IOS DEVICES
When in the Roku remote app on your mobile device:
• If necessary, click "Devices" at the bottom of the screen, and connect to one of your Roku devices.
• Again at the bottom of the first screen click on the "Search" magnifying glass and search for your channel.
• Click AND HOLD the channel you wish to remove (a quick click will bring up the remote controls instead).
• Click on "Remove" and confirm.

Re: Installed apps are not showing up on the home screen
I'll just add that there is anecdotal evidence suggesting this is more likely to occur when adding a channel via the website than when adding via the Roku's user interface.

Fanduel Sports app keeps disappearing
Using the search function on my Roku device, on my tv, I found and loaded to my Home Screen the Fanduel Sports app. It worked for that day, but the next day it was missing. I searched and downloaded the Fanduel Sports app, downloaded it again, and it worked. But it's like Groundhog Day. The app does not stay on my Home Screen more that one day. Why do I have to download it every day? Thanks to anyone that can answer this.

Re: Apps are not appearing on the Home screen
This works only as a method to REMOVE an app, but it does nothing to let an app be installed from the Roku website. I've tried loading several different apps through channelstore.roku.com, through two different Roku accounts, and none of them showed up on any of my three Roku devices or Roku TVs.
An app will appear on the home screen only if it's installed through the Roku home screen menu or the mobile app. Hoping Roku fixes this soon, because it's much easier to browse through the web version of the channel store, and the on-device channel store is limited to 41 apps per category.

Re: Apps are not appearing on the Home screen
Thank you for the input. I did just find that information and it was what I needed. I didn't even think about using the app because I never use it.

Re: Installed apps are not showing up on the home screen
Thank you so much for the info. I tried the secret menu option, and it worked like a charm. This has been driving me crazy for about a week now. I was using the shortcut key to access sling, but homescreen access is even easier. Hopefully you guys get this system issue figured out soon.
