I subscribed to Globoplay channel on Roku, installed the app but can’t login to Globoplay. On the Globoplay app I am prompted to create a profile and when I enter my Roku credentials it does not accept them. If I create a new account it assumes I want a new paid for subscription with Globo which doesn’t make sense because that would be two payments for the same product.
How do I login to Globoplay with my Roku subscription?
If you pay for something through Roku generally you can only use that subscription/purchase on a Roku device. Cancel your Roku based subscription and subscribe directly with Globoplay if you want to use it on different devices.
To add to what @renojim said, it works that way for other streaming platforms (Amazon, Apple, etc) as well. It's not a Roku limitation, but currently something all platforms do. I don't like it but here we are. Roku's no worse than the others with this, but they're no better in this regard either.
