Roku does not ask for a password prior to purchase.

@JeffZX

If you subscribed through Roku, it won't. It will automatically log you in if you subscribed through Roku. But... you can only watch it on Roku. That's what I've been trying to tell you.

When you cancel the Roku subscription [https://my.roku.com/account/subscriptions] it will prompt you to log in when the subscription ends.

Look, I have Peacock TV. I use my credentials on my iPad. And on my Roku. And on any other device. And I only have the one subscription. If you want to spend more money and subscribe to twice or more, go ahead. It's your money. But if you want to only subscribe once, do what I'm telling you.

Peacock does not accept the password I have for Roku. Says password must have numbers. If I made a different email and password on the Peacock app on my iPad, how is my Roku going to know since when purchasing Peacock on Roku it does not ask for a password?

Ok, cancel on Roku and when subscription ends it will prompt me for password? Why would it do that when it did not prompt me for password on initial purchase?

You said your iPad didn't, then I showed you a screen shot pointing it out. I suspect the same thing happened with Roku. It was there, you just didn't see it. But it was there. Until you subscribed. Now it won't be, until the subscription ends.

I saw the sign on on iPAD, but only after logged out. I only see the log in on Roku if I log out. Both have different email and password. When made purchase on Roku, it did  not ask for email snd password. Not  that it would solve problem, but if established new email and password for Roku, I would lose all channels saved snd mess with other channels purchased via Roku.

I do not think can be done. If you think differently, walk me step by step through process. My facts. Signed up to Peacock plus with Roku. I did not need to enter an email or password. I have a different email and password for free Peacock on iPAD. If I log out of iPAD account and try to establish a new account with my Roku email and password, Peacock will not accept password as no numbers in Roku password. Thx.

ok YES It can be done! @JeffZX@DBDukes

On your Roku, go to the Peacock App and open it, in the top right corner there is an account or an email address go into account to get email address. Write this address down.

on a non-roku device ie tablet, phone, laptop etc

If you have access to the email address you wrote down:
Go to Peacocktv.com and go to sign in. and click on "I don't know my password" then check that email inbox and follow directions, the accounts should link, if not the following will work.

If you do not have access to the email address you wrote down (our address with a letter off).

Go to Peacocktv.com, go to bottom of page chose "Help"

A Blue "Chat Online" should pop up on screen, maybe bottom right side. Choose that.

I will give you options, choose: Device Setup and Login, then choose: Email and Password Not Working, then choose Why can't I sign in?

It will prompt you to reset password, ignore this, chose No to "Did this give you the help you needed?" This will connect you with a live person to chat with to correct your email address and link you Roku account to a peacock account you can access on any device.

Just tell the person that you signed up an account in Roku and want to use on other devices.

Enjoy!

Yes, the history, favorites, and everything will be lost. It's a different account. But you run into that anyway.

Your Peacock TV account via Roku is only valid on Roku. No, it did't ask for anything when you logged in, because it's creating an account behind the scenes that is tied to your Roku account. It didn't need you to enter any credentials.

That's called Single Sign On (SSO). It can be a good thing, or it can cause confusion.

Keep this in mind: any account you create via a Roku subscription is limited to Roku. You can't use that account on any other device.

This is also true for accounts created on an Amazon Fire TV device. I mention this to show that this is not some thing Roku is doing. It's how SSO works, when the SSO is through a particular device/account. And, in your case, it's your Roku account.

If you're trying to use a Roku-created/tied account on a non-Roku device, you'll be disappointed.

If you want a single subscription to any service that can be used across multiple platforms (Roku, Android, iOS, Fire TV, etc) then you have to do what I've said over and over: create an account with the service and use those credentials. Anything else is a fool's errand.
