How to remove the Vizio WatchFree+ interface and go back to the previous way under Roku

Jump to solution

I am not sure whether this is the right forum or even the right company for my question.

A few months back, my TV manufacturer, Vizio, introduced their proprietary streaming and viewing interface, including an option for over the air channels called WatchFree+. Whereas I was able to switch before between over the air channels or streaming services within seconds, now such switching can take up to one minute. Does Roku have any information on how to remove that annoying Vizio interface and go back to the old way I was operating my TV?

A warm welcome here in the Roku Community, @AdiKB!

We appreciate you reaching out for support, and we'd be happy to assist you in reaching out to the correct support regarding the interface of your Vizio TV.

In cases like this, we only support Roku's operating system, and this doesn't include your TV's interface, as it has a different running system than ours. It will be highly effective if you directly contact your TV manufacturer for further information and assistance.

You may reach them here: Vizio TV Support

We hope you get everything sorted out soon and appreciate you bearing with us in the meantime.

Best regards,
Carly
