For more information about that channel's authentication and functionality, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

This was totally useless help months after I posted this questions. Roku had an agreement with Bally Sports to carry their channel. I've spoken with Bally Sports months ago and the only way we can get Bally Sports is directly through a cable subscriber. It is not available for streaming. Just take Bally Sports off your menu to not further mislead subscribers that it is available.
