How do I delete an app on Roku that is NOT on the home screen?
Hello,
This may seem like a unique situation (I’m not sure if this is common), but it is incredibly frustrating.
I downloaded an app (Tablo), but it never showed up on the home screen with all the others. If I search it in the app store I can open it there, but I don’t think I can delete it that way. I assume this is a glitch.
I need to delete the app because it does not work properly- the shows do not play. It’s probably a simple uninstall-reinstall, but I am unable to do that. Thanks in advance!

Try using the mobile app to remove it. Search for the Tablo app within the mobile app and there should be an option to remove it. When you add it again, search for it on your Roku device under Streaming Store. Don't add it from the Roku website.

Re: How do I delete an app on Roku that is NOT on the home screen?
Try:
1) Using the remote: Home (5x), Up (2x), L, R, L, R, L
2) Scroll (U/D or FF/RW) app list until you see Tablo or Legacy Tablo (depending on which you installed)
3) Select, then Remove Channel, then Home
4) Restart: Settings/System/<Power>/System restart
