How do I add channel 3 or 4 ??

I have looked through everything I could to find out how to add channels 3 and 4 I have a gaming joystick that requires tv to be on channel 3 or 4 I purchased an RF Modulator and the coax cable to attach it to the back of my tv everything is installed correctly I just can’t find out how to add channel 3 or 4 ?? Can anyone help??

I think you have to scan for channels from Settings->TV inputs and then it will ask if you need channels 3 and 4.  It's been a while since I've done it.

That assumes the TV supports analog signals. I think the FCC allowed manufacturers to drop support a few years ago.

I've tried to add channels 3 and 4 and it doesn't work my fix was to toss this cheap TV with Cheap sound in the trash. Buy a quality TV. You know, the one with a remote that has numbers so you don't have to tab the button a million times trying to find channel 3 and 4 that doesn't not exist.

I had the same issue trying to hookup my SEGA Genesis game console. I had to connect it to the antenna jack, turn it on, THEN scan for channels. It recognized it and added channel 4 as a “vcr” station.

Is channel 4 alone or 4.1

@Amunguia1291, it's not clear what you're asking, but the old analog VHF channel 4 is unrelated to the new digital channel 4.1.  VCRs and old game consoles often used analog channel 3 or 4 to connect to the antenna input of a TV.

I got you guys if you still need that help on finding the channel 3 or 4 simple steps follow me on tik tok I'll Give you The answer there just make sure before anything you need an Atenna that we'll use on the Tv alexishernandez0105 on tik tok I got you. Easy  so look you connect your atenna to the tv and than go to Home if you see live tv on the tile or right side you're good that's where you want to be but if you don't see it we need to go back to home settings and than go over tontv input than go to live tv click OK ok that now you will see a source for antenna you want to scan antenna once it scans channels on your tv from the antenna it will stop loading and you go back home and now you will see the option for live tv on the tiles where you the options also for hdmi if you want to move it around to be to the left or up you press the star button on the remote  and than click ok to set it where you want it if not just leave there up to you. Once you you go to guide you will see the option For all the decimal channels like .3 or .4 but iIf you ever want to change the settings or rescan the channel for what ever reason you don't see it just go back home same process  or perhaps edit the channels linenup just go back to settings go down to tv input and than find the live tv options and you can managed your channels or rescan them if you feel you might be able to pick up a better signal by rescanning and get more channels available.
