Help with tcl TV plus app cannot get it to work on tcl tv

Jump to solution

I have a 2 tcl Roku TVs. Yesterday (July 15,2024) I added the TCLtv plus app and when I try to open it a message says I have no Internet connection. I have done all of the resets except for the full factory reset. Nothing is working to correct this. Internet is working fine for all other apps.

Hi @Ityson,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

Thank you for letting us know about the issue you're experiencing when accessing the TCL TV+ channel. We are here to assist you.

Channel access issues could be due to the channel needing an update or a network issue. We suggest trying the following steps to see if they resolve the issue.

Channel restart

  • Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press the Star button to open the options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
  • Restart your Roku device: Restart the device from the settings menu. Go to Settings > System > System restart > Restart.
  • Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store and add the channel again.

You can also check for additional troubleshooting steps here: How to resolve a channel playback issue.
