Please be aware that there was a service interruption that affected the Photo Streams channel that has now been resolved. We invite you to check to see if you are still experiencing an issue.

Good Morning,

I am new in the Roku World, and I try since hours to implement the Photo Stream Screensaver without success. As I am living in Germany I am not sure if the Screensaver is available.

Following this steps described here in the Community will fail as step 5 select Photo Stream is not available in my Catalog of Screensavers. Anything I am doing wrong?

My Modell 3820EU - Streaming Stick 4k

Software Version 12.0.0 Build 4184-CU

We recommend performing the below steps and see if you can resolve the issue:

1. Press the Home button on Roku remote on your Roku remote
2. Scroll and select Settings
3. Select Theme to open the Theme menu
4. Select Screensavers
5. Select Photo Streams
6. Select Set as Screensaver to set Photo Streams as the screensaver

Photo Stream is indeed an option to be set as a screensaver for Roku streaming devices. Have you tried to set the screensaver start time to the lowest duration to see if the Photo Stream screensaver appeared? Also, could you confirm if you have already uploaded files to Photo Stream to appear as a screensaver?

Thanks for trying the recommended troubleshooting above this thread.

Could you clarify if the Roku screensaver is the one that doesn't work, or was it the Roku photostream? When did you start having this issue?
