Gotham Sports is an unmitigated disaster. What's more, they don't seem to give a **bleep**.
Gotham Sports support is non-existent. They pick up the phone in the Philippines and only say "we'll report it to the tech team."
Yes I'm having the same issue. I just downloaded the app and subscribed and it crashes when I open it. This is a shame.

I have already exhausted all troubleshooting steps that are provided by both Roku and Gotham Sports support teams. All troubleshooting steps failed to resolve the issue. There is no doubt there's a problem with the application itself which developers from Gotham need to correct. There are various posts online on this site, Gotham's and Reddit.
For now I am using the smart TVs native options and using Gotham sports app through there without issues. It also works on my laptop. But I have multiple Roku devices and it fails on all of them. Hopefully Gotham provides an update for the app sooner than later.
I too have tried everything that has been proposed by both Gotham and Roku support teams and nothing has worked. For the cost we are paying this is absurd.

I just got this to work. I clicked OK 2x Quick and it loaded! Totally an accident
I did the same on previous games and they play.
I am now having the smoothing issue again. I'll need to report this. But at least the game is on.
