French channels don't work, don't buy them!!!

I bought the following channels to watch French channels:

- TV FROM FRANCE

- TV & RADIO FROM FRANCE

- FRANCE TV

- TLINGO FRANCE TV

Unfortunately these channels do not work, the channels content are empty.

I paid for these four channels and none of them work.

Roku must remove these channels from the list of channels to download because you spend money and you have no service available.

It's a scam !

Where are you located?  Some of those channels may be restricted based on what region of the world you are living.

You should contact those channels customer support to see if streaming is supported in your area and/or ask for a refund if they are not available for you.

I am from Mexico City,

I don't have any contact those channels customer support.

Even if there was a country-level availability restriction, they should indicate this before purchasing this service.

The best solution would be to offer a free 24-hour service, for example, with the option to purchase.

If you paid for those accounts through Roku, you could contact Roku customer support under the customer support page.  To check if you have subscriptions listed, you can log into your Roku account and check what subscriptions you have through Roku. If you have subscriptions listed through your Roku account. you can reach out to Roku customer support on the support page, scroll down, contact us, accounts/subscriptions, then select the next issue and contact by phone/chat.

If you paid for those subscriptions through each service, then you will have to try to contact those channels directly.  You can check for the developer's name on the Roku channel page.  It looks like each of those channels get pretty poor reviews and have different developers.  It is possible these channels have gone out of business or been suspended for some reason.

If you cannot contact them and the channels don't work, my other suggestion would be to contact your credit card/bank and dispute the charges so that you can get refunded.

Roku doesn't control what third party channels do and don't do, unless it involves illegal content, which they don't permit.

Re: French channels don't work, don't buy them!!!

I looked at the (US) channel store.

TV From France, 2.2 stars, no links to company/contact/privacy policy. No description of what you're getting.

TV and Radio from France, 1.5 stars, no links to company/contact/privacy policy. No description of what you're getting.

France TV 2.3 stars, no anything - same as above,

TLINGO FRANCE TV no stars/no ratings. This one does at least provide a link to something: http://axotv.com/ There's not much there but maybe you can find something useful.

I would suggest browsing the channel store and being fairly skeptical about giving money to channels like these. I think there are more channel/apps than Roku employees, so the channel store is not a carefully curated list of their favorite apps. It's more of a flea market. (Which is not to say that there aren't any "serious" apps in there like Paramount+, Netflix, etc. but there are also apps by some unknown guy.)

Banned but back. Because why not?
