It happens on several different networks on recorded shows.

The main place we noticed it at is the CBS and local news thru direct TV stream. But it also is on other shows that we have recorded on other Direct tv stream networks. Again what is strange is that we never had this problem until a month or so ago. I do not know if replacing the Roku box would solve anything.

So it's only with the DirecTV channel. Then it's very likely not the Roku itself. I would reach out to DirecTV for their customer support of their channel.

I used DirecTV Stream (aka AT&T TV) for years. Great service. Like all live TV services your recordings are stored in the cloud. There will always be a a delay. As in matter of fact even live broadcasts are about 15-25 seconds behind cable or satellite. First step is to restart your Roku, modem and router. But it is nothing on Roku's end. It could also be your internet connection.
