It started yesterday April 18 for me. All other channels are working for me, only Roku Channel and Roku Live TV have nothing at all.
I have done the following. Rebooted my modem and wifi
Checked for system updates....system is up to date.
Powered down and restarted my Roku.
Removed Roku Chanel.
Powered down again and restarted again.
Re-added Roku Channel.
Nothing changed, still a dead channel
We purchased this Roku Express 4K+ yesterday -
Content on the Roku Channel will not play. Everything we try to play on the Roku Channel loads for a second, and then pops us right back on the "Play" button, and nothing plays.
Here are steps I tried...
1. Remove the Roku Channel
2. Go into Settings and Restart the system
3. Add the Roku Channel
Additionally I have tried:
1. Factory Resetting the Roku Device
Attempts to play result in the same behavior described above.
I have restarted my modem. But no other devices (computers) are experiencing issues with internet connectivity.
I have restarted the television.
I went in to Settings and verified that there are no Connection issues.
Channels like HBO Max, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. play content without any problems.

Software version: 12.0.0 build 4175
I should mention, the only reason we bought the Roku was to watch Heathers the Musical on the Roku Channel, and we literally can't even watch it.
I am also having the same problem with the Roku channel on both of my televisions. No titles will play, I select play & it just brings me back to the list where I select play. I have tried all of the fixes listed, restart, removing channel, factory reset. My Roku devices are not new and they worked fine until yesterday 04/18/2023
I contacted live support, and they said they were going to have to research the issue internally.
I did give the live agent your username as well and explained you were experiencing the same issue.

For what it's worth just tried a few different shows. Ones that were already started and ones that were not. Worked OK.
