One of the Dashcoop settings that you can change is "Dim Screen."  You can enable, disable, or set a wait time.  You might need to disable it.

Thank you for this. It's not the great, but good enough. It sucks that we have to pay for something that was free and working flawlessly and instead we have this imitation that we need a telescope to read the weather information on top of the right hand side. I was never too concerned about the forecast part, but the humidity, wind direction was important to me. At least I knew from which way the wind was coming whether or not it was going to be cold or warming up. Thanks a bunch. It will do.

Nothing new to report although Roku recently announced that the original platform components will be removed from all devices soon forcing me to get back into Roku development mode to check if any of my channels will be affected.

Believe me, you are not the only one! Several of my family members ask me often, "Any news on the Roku CLOC?" We all miss it.
