Changing my location on pbs live stream

When watching PBS live stream TV my local station should be Wnit Michiana. The roku location thinks it's in the Detroit area. I've changed my zip code in settings and also tried to change location when the error code appears to no avail. It says "live tv not available" and I have to switch to the Detroit PBS channel to watch live streaming.

The support code is p172 b58 s120 v39

Thanks for contacting us about the playback issue you're experiencing with the PBS live stream. This problem may be specific to the channel and may require an update.

We would recommend trying the steps below and see if we can isolate this.

  • Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press the Star button to open the options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
  • Restart your Roku device: Restart the device from the settings menu. Go to Settings > System > System restart > Restart.
  • Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store and add the channel again.

For additional troubleshooting, you can check our support page here on how to resolve channel playback issues.

If the problem keeps happening, we'll need the channel support team to step in and help out. Let them know about this issue. Most of the channels on Roku are run directly by the channel providers themselves.
