My mom is trying to watch the hallmark channel, but closed captioning doesn’t work on it no matter what we try. She’s deaf so I want to solve it for her by the time I fly home.
We’ve restarted it, updated, turned CC on and off using the main three methods, etc.
Anyone else run into this problem?
Hi @doketwaj,
Thanks for joining us here in the Roku Community!
We appreciate you flagging us about this. Not all channels can share the same settings as what you have on your Roku, and channels may have different navigation settings within the channel itself. Try accessing it during playback: using your Roku remote, press the *sign button, and then look for the accessibility settings for close caption.
If you still don't see one, we would recommend reporting this to the channel support team for additional support. Please be aware that most of the channels on Roku are managed directly by the channel provider themselves.
You can reach out to them here: Hallmarck ContacUs
Let the Community know if there's any assistance you need.
Thanks,
Rey
