My Brit Box subscription renewed on April 23 & I got an email saying it will renew on April 23, 2025. When I try to log in, I keep getting prompted to start a trial for Acorn TV. What's going on with this?

@Roku @ saw BritBox is ending in the USA after April 30th.  Why was I just charged for a full month when it's only up for 3 more days?   Please Refund asap

The Britbox "shutdown" is only in the UK, where it is being merged with ITVX. There is no change here in the US.

If this is only in the UK, why is the app telling me that it is no longer available in my country? I am in the US.

My Britbox app shut down on July 18, 2024.  A screen comes up and says Britbox is no longer available in the U.S.  It appears that ITVX has pulled Britbox from the U.S. as all British shows are no longer licensed to be streamed outside of the U.K.  There is a lot of information about this on the Internet and ITVX wants anyone who wants to watch the Britbox shows to subscribe to a VPN in order to access and bypass the U.K. only restriction.  Too bad.  We watched a lot of the shows on Britbox and will miss it.  I am surprised there is so little discussion here about this situation.  I paid for the year and am only halfway through.  I can't find a way to get refunded.

Are you sure it is gone from the US? Maybe it's just if you subscribe through Roku? The US web site is still up and has links to subscribe.
