I just purchased a month of Max thru Roku. For some reason a narrator announces all the characters expressions and movements. Is there a setting for blind people and how do I turn off.
There isn't a single Roku settings for it, but some videos have multiple audio tracks with one containing the descriptions. Try pressing * on your Roku remote while the video is playing and then go into "Accessibility & language" and then "Audio track". Choose a different one from the currently selected one. I don't use Max, but some apps have a different way to select the audio track before you start a video, so you may have to look through its menus.

The Roku default method of accessing your choice of audio track, as described by @renojim above, is to press the * key on your Roku remote while viewing the program and examining the options presented.
More and more channels are not using the Roku default but instead substituting their own method of access -- I'm guessing this is so they will have consistent controls with versions of their app running on platforms other than Roku. Often these options are accessed by pressing the up and/or down cursor control keys while viewing the program to pop the channel's own control options on the screen.
