syncing an existing account with a second device

I have added another Roku Ultra device to a new TV in another room. Set up was easy, but all my services (Hulu, Netflix, etc.) are asking me to sign in with my user name and password. They are NOT asking me to create an account. I have several services, and I find this process tedious. Is this normal? Somehow I thought that a second device would function seamlessly with my original account. I appreciate any advice/education.

Re: syncing an existing account with a second device

There are a few channels that have their login credentials stored in the Roku cloud (I don't have a list of them) but the majority require you to log in on every device. And it's no different on my Android based devices, they too require a fresh login on each device.

Some people would prefer it all be stored and log in automatically while others prefer the security of not having their credentials stored by a 3rd party. There are pros and cons to each method.
