I signed into my YouTube account onto my Roku by scanning the QR code and it brought me directly to my YouTube app on my phone to sign it in. I’m unable to see any of my subscriptions or my playlists. I even reinstalled the app just to be sure on my tv and still no luck. I have an autistic child and sometimes the only thing that calms him down are the same videos on repeat.

All the best,
The Roku Community Team
youtube tv version released 11/21/2024 will not launch on ultra.
When I hit ok on the YouTube TV app nothing happens other than the selection sound.
All the apps are working. I reset the roku streaming stick through the device, no YouTube TV. I unplugged the roku streaming stick and plugged it back in, no YouTube TV. I uninstalled YouTube TV and reinstalled it, no YouTube TV. The YouTube TV App just sits there and we can't get into the app.
Please help.
Roku 4850X Software 14.0.4
Had YouTube and YouTube TV installed both were functioning correctly, and just stopped working today. Neither app will open anymore. Uninstalled, both, restarted the Roku, reinstalled the apps and they still will not launch. The Roku just makes it standard clicking noise when you try to open it. I’ve gone through this process numerous times. Any ideas on how to get YouTube and YouTube TV working again on the Roku?
Turning on the TV/Roku today and selecting YouTubeTV application, nothing happened...the application didn't open...the selection was just ignored. I've tried the following:
1) I made sure the roku was up to date on software, powered off the Roku and restarted. No change.
2) I deleted the YouTubeTV application, powered off the Roku and restarted it, reinstalled YouTubeTV and no change.
3) I installed the YouTube application, selected YouTubeTV in the left column and signed on to YouTubeTV which worked. Painful, but it did work.
4) connected a Roku Ultra that I had on the shelf to the same TV and the YouTubeTV application worked.
5) I connected the original Roku Express and checked the other applications including Netflix, PBS, Paramount + and they all worked. The only application that does not work is YouTubeTV.
There has to be some internal setting that is causing the YouTubeTV application and only that application to fail on my Roku Express....and it's a change that happened between last night and this afternoon.
Hello,
I have a Roku ultra and just today the YouTube App will not open.
It is version 2.25 build 84.
I have tried deleting the app, rebooting the roku, and reinstalling YT and it will not open.
When I click to open the app, it does the audio bloop sound that I clicked it and nothing.
No attempt to even open.
My Roku Ultra is updated to 14.0.4 build 1222
No other app is behaving like this.
Same thing is happening to me using the 4850x Roku box. I can’t load either channel. This newer box is a dud. Ever since I bought it last month, it keeps rebooting, various channels keep freezing.
I am able to access YTTV and Youtube from the ‘streaming store’ page using my older 4800x device but I’m not allowed to reload YTTV or Youtube apps onto the Roku home page (I deleted it in an attempt to resolve the problem).
