Apple TV app shows spinner indefinitely
It’s worked in the past (a year ago) but now longer does. I’ve deleted app, restarted Roku streaming stick, confirmed high quality internet connection, reinstalled and still won’t get past the spinner.
Roku 3810x streaming stick+
Software version V14.1
Apple TV version 15.0 build 66
Any other ideas?

- Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press Star
- to open the Options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
- Note: If you are removing a subscription channel billed to your Roku account, you must cancel the subscription before you see the Remove Channel option. For help identifying this type of subscription channel, read the detailed article about removing a channel.
- Restart your Roku device: By going to Settings > System > Power/System restart.
- Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Channel Store and add the channel again.
- Note: If you are adding a subscription channel billed to your Roku account, you will need to resubscribe.
If you're still having trouble with the channel while content from other channels works perfectly, feel free to contact the channel provider's customer support team for additional help.
You can contact them here at AppleTV support.
Thank you!

You might also try unplugging the device for 30 to 60 seconds and see if that helps.

Re: Apple TV app shows spinner indefinitely
I already mentioned I had followed those exact steps in my initial message. I have also tried unplugging the device as well after deleting the app.
The link provided to contact Apple is for their physical Apple TV devices and not their app on a Roku.
What else can I do?

Re: Apple TV app shows spinner indefinitely
@sccr410While I can't guarantee this will solve the issue, its possible the problem is due to WiFi channel congestion. I'd recommend you install WiFi Analyzer for Android or something similar for iPhone. Once installed, tap it to see how many others are using the same channel/band, then log into the router and switch to a channel with less congestion. If using 5 ghZ band, the lower channels are best. If you're using service provider modem/router, its possible the default channel selection setting is 'auto' which can often create problems. Selecting channels manually gets the best results. If this doesn't resolve the issue, not sure what else to say. Best of success regardles

Re: Apple TV app shows spinner indefinitely
All other streaming apps work just fine on this device which should rule out a network issue I imagine?
