I had the same problem so I went into my Roku account and removed the need for a PIN but still cannot add channels as it still asks for a pin. Now what? Thanks

If you decide you no longer need a PIN, you can remove it using the following instructions:
After your PIN preferences are saved, a PIN is no longer required on any of your Roku devices when making purchases, adding apps, or playing content on The Roku Channel.

If all else fails, you can at least enter a new known PIN value.
