It's come to my attention that a Sonic the Hedgehog channel is part of the Live TV channel lineup. I used to love watching the old Sonic cartoons when I was a kid, so this was perfect for me! One show, in particular, caught my attention, however.
When I checked the information for an episode of Sonic Underground, I noticed something unusual. The channel art seems to be a custom piece of art featuring the three main characters doing their poses from each episode's title card. However, Sonia, Sonic, and Manic are all drawn in Sonic Adventure or Sonic X style rather than the cutesy style that the show uses. There are also some small inconsistencies with the character designs, not to mention that the art quality, itself, seems a little… amateurish.
I was unable to find any kind of source on any of the usual art sites. However, Google Lens was able to track this piece of art down to a YouTube video from 2013 which uses the art in its thumbnail… which led me to a name.

This artwork is stolen. The original, unedited version can be found over on Tumblr, which was mentioned in a Reddit thread about it. Apparently, this has been a thing for over nine years now? That doesn't seem very fair or right. Please, either credit the original artist, or change the art.
