help with set up wireless video doorbell not connecting to internet

I got wireless video doorbell as a gift and have been trying to set it up for the last few days without any success. I continue to get the message to ensure my phone is near my doorbell and that the pairing failed and to reset the device and try again even after it says that is completed. When I do this, it continues to give me the same message, this is really frustrating and I'm ready to have it returned and purchase a different product where I would have much more success on the first try. Can you tell me what the solution to this problem is?

I brought the same doorbell and I'm having the same issue it's not working

  • What are you trying to do when you receive this error? (e.g., Setting up, viewing the live stream, watching reader videos, etc.)
  • Are you using an Android or iOS device?
  • Roku Smart Home app version
  • Does it happen to your other cameras or only on this device?
  • Have you tried using another mobile phone to see if the same issue occurs?
