We are having the same exact problem. We purchased the wireless Roku doorbell camera and was very excited and pleased about how easy it was to set up and was working great for about two weeks then all of the sudden it starts messing up. Someone comes to the door it works and you can see them for a few seconds then it goes black and when we jiust want to check on the house on the app sometimes it will show live feed but most of the tine it is a black screen. We can hear the background noises but can't see anything at all. Very very disappointed. We have reset devices, wifi, phones, app, still not working right. I am the one that picked this camera over Ring so I feel bad that I picked this at all.
