Roku camera will not setup

Hello! 

I have an indoor Roku camera that I removed from the app following the instructions. Now, I am unable to set it up again. I have done all steps listed in this forum and none work. The red light remains solid and I am unable to get it to the blinking phase (yes, I pushed the set up button, yes, I held it down, yes, I attempted this multiple times, yes, I have tried unplugging it and switching outlets). 

What to do when the instructions do not work?

Thank you for bringing to our attention that you are having trouble setting up your Roku camera again after removing it from the Roku Smart Home app. Now, it is stuck on a solid red status light. We would be more than willing to sort this out for you.

Before we proceed, please ensure that your Roku Smart Home app is running the latest version. Additionally, we would like to know the following:

  • When did you purchase this Roku camera, and what is the model?
  • How long have you been experiencing the issue?
  • Are you getting any error codes/messages on the Roku Smart Home app? If so, what is the error?
