My base station was unable to connect to my Outdoor Camera SE (CW1000R). (Power may have been lost but this has happened before with no issues once restored.) The camera battery was more than 90%.
After attempting many solutions, I removed the camera via the app and set it up again.
While the base station can now connect, the battery level now reads 0% despite being near-full. I'm charging it, but it doesn't seem to be registering any change; still at 0%.

Hello! @ericalm,
Thanks for the post,
We are sorry to hear about your Outdoor Camera having an issue. We are happy to help.
Please ensure you are plugging the Roku Outdoor Camera (Battery) directly into the Roku Base Station.
- To ensure the camera isn’t draining its battery as fast as it’s charging, ensure it’s turned off for the total 4-hour charging duration.
- If the Roku Outdoor Camera (Battery) does flash red when connected to a charging cable, but the battery level still shows 0% in the app, this is likely not a hardware defect. Try re-pairing the Roku Outdoor Camera (Battery) with the Base Station.
- If set up successfully, ensure the camera has the latest firmware installed.
- Manually switch the camera on or off using the power switch on the back of the camera.
Please keep us updated on your progress so we can continue to assist you further. We look forward to hearing back from you.
Thanks,

Re: Outdoor Camera: (Near) Full Battery Reading 0%
It’s starting to show a charge now.
Any idea why it would suddenly go from 90%+ to 0% while disconnected from base station?
