Grainy Audio and Slow Video feed

for some reason my Roku camera’s audio sounds horribly bad whenever I talk through it, the microphone sounds grainy and bad, it’s been acting slow recently, I got it a day ago and it worked fine.

Re: Grainy Audio and Slow Video feed

Hi @Theduke0205,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

We are here to assist you with your concerns about the Roku camera's grainy audio and slow live stream. No worries, help is here.

Please follow the troubleshooting steps below and see if this works for you.

  1. Test your Wi-Fi range. If your device has no bars or one bar, try moving or mounting it closer to your router.
    > Tap the Home screen icon in the Roku Smart Home mobile app from the navigation bar
    >Select your device
    > Tap the Settings icon in the Roku Smart Home mobile app in the corner
    > Select Device info
    > Check the three bars Signal strength icon in the Roku Smart Home mobile app to see signal quality
  2. Restart your router and modem
  3. Restart your Roku camera
    > Unplug the USB cable from the back of your camera
    > Wait 10 seconds
    > Plug the USB cable back into the power input port on your camera

We hope you find this information helpful. Please let us know if the issue persists.

Cheer,
Riamie
