Error code 20202 on Roku Wire-Free Video Doorbell SE

Jump to solution

I am getting error code 20202, problem with wireless network. I follow all the steps to reset it including resetting the router. The only thing I found that works is if I delete everything, including the device in the app and reinstall everything. That works for a few days to a few weeks before it happens again. The Wi-Fi router is literally right next to the chime plugin, and the doorbell is less than 5 ft away from both of those. I haven't even had this for a year and it's caused nothing but problems. It will ring when someone presses the doorbell, but the camera almost never comes up. I'm at my wit's end with this, I do hard resets to fix it and then it goes right back doing what it was before. I've checked the settings in the app and everything is correct. According to the app it's connected to the internet and the signal is strong. Is there any suggestions besides what's already written down, because those don't work.

I have the same problem,I have to uninstall app, reinstall it, then 2 or 3 days later same thing again. If I look at account on Smart home app before uninstalling it, no email address or any of my info is there. After reinstalling app all my info is there. It's got so bad I am gonna trash an $80 Roku and get a Ring doorbell camera
