Jump to solution

I connected my Roku doorbell to the existing wiring for my doorbell months ago.

I have a 2% battery indicator flashing.

If it has electricity,  why is the battery low??

Hi @Myne57,

Welcome to the Roku Community!

I noticed in your post that your Roku Wire-Free Video doorbell is already plugged into the power source, but it still has a 2% battery. I'll be glad to assist you with this concern.

To clarify this, did you mean that your Roku Doorbell is not charging? If so, I suggest you to try these troubleshooting steps:

  • Try using a different USB power adaptor.
  • Restart your Roku Wire-Free Video doorbell:
  1. Loosen the security screw at the bottom of the doorbell
  2. Remove the backplate of your doorbell by sliding it down and then pulling it away
  3. Press the Power button to turn the doorbell off
  4. Wait 10 seconds
  5. Press the Power button again to turn the doorbell on

If restarting the device won't work, try the next steps.

Factory reset your video doorbell:

  1. Unmount your doorbell but leave it connected to the power
  2. Press the Reset button
  3. Wait for your doorbell to restart

After a successful reset, you will hear "Ready to connect" and you will see the status light flashing yellow.

Please let us know if these troubleshooting steps help you to resolve your issue.

Thanks,
Riamie
