Camera notifications power down
So I googled if I would be able to be notified when a camera is powered off, and it informed me I was, however the option it’s showing is not available. So can you not set a notification up where when the device is powered down or unplugged to send a notification? Seems to be a lot of misinformation out there with Roku…

Re: Camera notifications power down
Hi, @Pauleyzach94
Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Roku Community.
We appreciate you sharing your concern regarding Roku cameras' notification features. Please be informed that Roku cameras do not send notifications when they are powered off. They only send notifications when they detect motion or sound while actively powered on and connected to the network.
Roku cameras are designed to only send notifications when they are actively monitoring and detecting activity, such as movement and audio, so you will not receive an alert if the camera is unplugged or powered off.
For more information, you can learn more about the notification features in this official Roku support article on How to use smart detection for your Roku Smart Home camera or video doorbell.
We hope you find this information helpful, and feel free to reach out to us if you have further concerns or inquries.
Best wishes,
Kash
