They had to of leased the old firmware from wyze after they purchased the cameras. Once the lease expired they had to create and release their own firmware which is what we all have now. It doesn't work right but we're stuck with it and they can't go back to the old firmware. It's the only logical explanation I can come up with as support wont address the issues with the firmware and doesn't seem to be able to fix it.

For the past 3 days my cameras are slowly coming back to normal, I’m now getting the alerts and tracking, still slow on getting to events and sound is still low,
