Subscription to Roku for a second home

If you have two homes and want to use Roku in both, do you need two subscriptions?  That is, if I subscribe, say, to the Tennis Channel through my primary home location, can I get it in my second home with no additional charge?

Re: Subscription to Roku for a second home

All Roku devices linked to the same Roku account will have access to any subscriptions that were taken out through Roku (using "Roku Pay").  If you subscribe to something directly through the provider then you can generally use that subscription anywhere (Roku device or not) by logging in using the credentials set up with the provider, but you'd have to check the provider's policy.

One caveat:  I've never heard of location being taken into account for subscriptions through Roku, but channels/apps do sometimes use IP addresses to ascertain locations and may have their own policies especially since more and more seem to be trying to eliminate account sharing.
