Roku charge me during free trial

I signed up for a trial period of 7 days with Paramount Plus.  I did not realize until someone told me that Showtime was included in with the trial.  So I went back and included the Showtime with my trial.  I was not informed that they were going to cancel my trial and charge me for adding Showtime even though it included in the trial.  There was nothing at all that would make me think they charged me until I seen the money  gone from my account.  When I contacted support the first person told me they would refund the 12.99  then for some reason all of a sudden I was taking to a different person (this took place in a chat with support) this person told me I was not eligible for a refund even though Showtime was part of the trial I had to pay for it and Paramount plus because I did not add it at the beginning even though it was added only a few hours later. And that I could not cancel it and get my money back because again only a few hours after adding it actually less than 2 hours they could not return my 12.99 and and cancel it.  So their week trial lasted only a day less than 5 totAl hour which at least 3 were trial and 2 were not even though I had no idea they cut trial periods off 6 days and 19 hours early they would not return my 12.99 we even though It was we rotten when I signed up I would not be charged until 7 days later on September 6, 2024 so they stole my money.
