Roku channel not working on my samsung smart tv in Canada

I am trying to get the Roku channel app to work on my samsung smart tv in Canada. 

When I try to log in to roku it says it needs a US account. 

Canada the US and Mexico have roku. 

Can anyone help me out with this matter?

Thanks for reaching out to Roku Community.

The Roku Channel is currently available in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom on Roku streaming devices, web, and mobile, and in Mexico on Roku streaming devices only. Premium Subscriptions on The Roku Channel are available in the United States, except on Samsung TVs and Amazon Fire TV devices.
