Hi, @Morrego.

Welcome to the Roku Community!

We appreciate you reaching us on how to purchase a subscription to a channel.

Adding an app or a channel to your streaming device is one way to purchase a subscription. To add the app, go to Home > Search > Type in the channel name > Add app > follow the on-screen prompt.

There are 3 ways to subscribe to streaming services on Roku. The way you subscribe affects how you manage or cancel your subscription.

  • Subscribe, pay, and manage your subscription directly through Roku: You'll be billed for the subscription by Roku and you'll manage and cancel your subscription on my.roku.com. Your card or bank statement will show that the charge is from "Roku" or "Roku for <the provider name>."
  • Subscribe and pay through Roku and manage your subscription through the service provider (for example, Disney+, Hulu, Sling TV, and Netflix): Roku will bill you for the subscription, but you will manage and cancel it through the streaming service provider.
  • Subscribe and pay directly through the service provider (for example, Apple TV+, YouTube TV, and Amazon Prime Video): You'll be billed for the subscription by the service provider and manage and cancel your subscription through them.

Note: Subscriptions auto-renew unless otherwise noted. You can turn off auto-renew to stop your subscription from auto-renewing at the next billing date.

Furthermore, you may visit this support article on what is Roku Pay?

We hope you find this information helpful.
